From Assistant to Floral Powerhouse

Krystal’s Boss Moves

If you’ve been around my orbit long enough, you know I love celebrating my people—especially when they go from assistant to absolute queen of their own thriving business. Meet Krystal, my fabulous Assistant aka Coordinating Director-turned-boss babe florist. For three years, Krystal’s been my right-hand woman, learning the ins and outs of managing a thriving business, all while keeping me sane. But here’s the kicker: she didn’t just learn—she’s thriving!

I had this hunch early on that Krystal was destined for something big. So naturally, I connected her with some of the best women entrepreneurs I know in the wedding industry—Natalie Blooms and Native Poppy. She soaked up all the knowledge, honed her craft, and then launched her own business: Destined to Be Florals.

In her first year, she’s crushed almost 40 weddings!! She mirrored my systems, organized her business like a pro, and added her unique flair.

Here’s the real flex: I constantly get messages from wedding planners, vendors, and even the brides themselves saying, “OMG, Krystal is amazing!” And, I’m not surprised. She’s got that beautiful combo of creative genius and business savvy that every entrepreneur dreams of.

As a business consultant, THIS is the kind of success story I live for. I’m all about helping entrepreneurs (especially creatives) take their businesses to the next level, and Krystal is proof that when you invest in yourself and the right systems, the results are unstoppable. Several of my clients have 5x to 10x-ed their businesses in just one year because they didn’t just dream big—they acted boldly.

What I love most about Krystal’s journey is her embracing the process. She didn’t shy away from hard work, learning from her mistakes, or taking big leaps of faith. And now? She inspires others while rocking the wedding industry with her stunning florals and incredible work ethic.

To all my aspiring entrepreneurs out there: be a Krystal. Learn, grow, and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Your dream business is waiting for you to own it. So here’s to Krystal, a total boss in every sense. You’ve set the bar, girl, and I couldn’t be prouder to call myself your mentor (and #1 hype woman).

Want to learn how to organize and optimize your business like Krystal? Let’s talk. Because when you’re destined to be great, nothing should hold you back.
